A new variation is being added to the pistons for big bore shocks. By setting the bore diameter to 1.4mm, it's possible to achieve smoother operation even in low-grip conditions. This improved suspension movement enhances traction during cornering. While the drift category often uses very low-viscosity oil, widening the piston bore allows for easier operation with slightly thicker oils (around #200 to #300), slowing down the penetration of silicone oil into O-rings and other components, thus maintaining optimal performance for longer.
