RWD Spring set for Drift
These RWD drift springs are produced by Team Yokomo. Setting them up is easier by clearly defining their intended use, such as the type of road surface and driving style. The springs are intentionally left unpainted to enhance their function and maximize the inherent properties of the material. The front direct-type springs are a highly responsive, coarse-wound type. They respond sharply to steering inputs and improve handling with a high level of grip. Even at high speeds, understeer due to front-end break-up is minimized, allowing for impressive and exciting corner entry speeds that will captivate the audience. For the rear, two types are available: forward and side-grip. The forward type responds well to throttle input, providing an attractive acceleration that pushes the machine forward powerfully. It enhances high performance and creates dynamic drift driving. In competition layouts where acceleration out of corners is key, the forward type's acceleration provides a significant advantage. The side-grip type utilizes the characteristics of its multi-wound design to provide smooth suspension operation that flexibly follows the road surface, resulting in highly stable drift cornering. With unprecedented improvements in controllability, it's a perfect match for driving on technical circuits. It also offers a high degree of freedom in drift angles during tandem driving and group driving, making it arguably the perfect spring for training tandem driving masters. Both types are available in two versions: an all-around version suitable for carpet/asphalt surfaces and a soft version suitable for P-tile/concrete surfaces. This total of six spring types provides a set suitable for all circuits and road surfaces.
